The appeal of sport sponsorships as a means of advertising and a marketing tool for firms in the online retail binary options industry continues its upward trend and appears to be becoming a widespread, commonplace practice. Soon after the announcement that 24Option signed a sponsorship deal with Italy’s champions Juventus, on which we have previously reported, another announcement coming from Israel this time comes to highlight this fact once again and underline that sport sponsorships are indeed invaluable for building up a binary options brand and catching the attention of potential customers.

More specifically, it was announced that binary options broker iTrader signed a sponsoring agreement with the Beitar Jerusalem football club, which is one of the leading professional football teams in the country, playing in the local premier league. The team is facing a particularly challenging situation presently as due to the turbulent situation in Israel it has not managed to sell great numbers of season tickets. Therefore, it really looks forward to its partnership with iTrade, which for only one season (2014-2015) will bring to its coffers one million New Israeli Shekels (NIS).

Sources from iTrader point out that the deal will however be equally beneficial for the broker as well, as it will grant it excellent exposure among the fan base of Israeli football. However, the binary options broker also justifies the deal by pointing out that beyond the obvious or direct marketing and financial benefits to be had through this investment, the company also considers important the messages that it gives out through investing in its local community via sports sponsorships.

Another similar story in Israel is the continuing long and successful partnership between USG Capital, which belongs to the Israeli group youtradeFX, and the successful basketball team Maccabi Tel Aviv. Besides its support on the national level, Maccabi is almost synonymous to Israeli basketball and a popular name beyond the borders of the country, not least because it has been a Euroleague Champion. This national and even international impact of the Maccabi brand is the reason why USG Capital seems willing and eager to continue its sponsorship of the basketball club as the company greatly values the fact that it can reach a very wide audience of potential clients through this tool also entice its partners or affiliates.
